Events at Mill Rose Inn Terms & Conditions
1. Event Participation Agreement
By checking the box below, the Participant (referred to as "Participant") agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. The Participant may bring additional guests, including minors, to the Teddy Bears & Tea event. By agreeing, the Participant accepts full responsibility for themselves and their guests.
2. Assumption of Risk
The Participant understands that attending this event may involve certain risks, such as minor injuries, allergic reactions, or accidents related to activities, food, or beverages. By attending, the Participant assumes all risks and agrees to be solely responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during or as a result of participation, whether caused by their own actions, those of their guests, or by others.
3. Supervision and Responsibility for Minors and Guests
The Participant is solely responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of any guests, especially minors, that they bring to the event. The Mill Rose Inn is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents involving the Participant’s guests or minors. Parents or guardians must accompany and monitor children at all times.
4. Release of Liability
In exchange for being allowed to attend the event, the Participant, on behalf of themselves, their guests, children, heirs, assigns, and personal representatives, releases and discharges the Mill Rose Inn, its owners, employees, and affiliates (collectively, "the Inn") from any and all liability, claims, or legal actions for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, even if caused by the Inn’s negligence.
5. Indemnification
The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Inn from any claims, demands, or lawsuits that may arise from their own or their guests’ participation in the event. This includes covering any legal fees or costs the Inn may incur as a result of such claims.
6. Medical Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency involving the Participant or their guests, the Participant authorizes the Inn to obtain emergency medical treatment on their behalf. The Participant acknowledges that they are responsible for any costs associated with such medical care. The Participant agrees to inform the Inn in advance of any known allergies or medical conditions for themselves or their guests.
7. Photograph and Media Release
By attending the event, the Participant grants the Inn permission to capture photographs or videos of the event and to use these for promotional or marketing purposes without compensation. If the Participant or any of their guests prefer not to be photographed, they must notify the Inn in writing before the event.
8. Force Majeure
The Inn will not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes to the event caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or public health emergencies. In such cases, the Inn reserves the right to modify or cancel the event without liability.
9. Financial Agreement
By checking the agreement box, the Participant agrees to pay all applicable event fees. The Participant understands that fees are non-refundable except in cases where the Inn cancels the event.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of San Mateo County, California.
11. Agreement Confirmation
By checking the box below, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms outlined in this agreement. The Participant accepts full responsibility for themselves and any guests they bring, including minors. The Participant acknowledges that they are legally authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of any minors attending the event.
